Here is Tyrell's throat on day 3 after getting his tonsils out. It looks pretty gross. They said the thing that hangs down in the back of his throat was kinda ling so they trimmed it, but it looks to me like they took it out completely. Maybe because he is so swollen.
Thanks to everyone who has sent well wishes his way. His office sent him a care package, and this was the balloon attached, I thought it was kinda funny. It says, "Some people will do anything for attention, get well soon!"
He is still in a lot of pain, but surviving none the less. He has been sleeping a little better. His throat is still pretty swollen. But it doesn't stop him from getting out to turn sprinklers on and off and to spray the weeds!!

Holy cow Tyrel! That is one nasty looking throat.... and I've seen many a nasty throat! Hope you feel better quickly!
Totally gross!! I hope he is feeling better every day and that you are surviving.
